A Story in a Picture

The second anniversary of one of the most horrible US-Saudi massacres against children came, while the United Nation is removing the Saudi Arabia from the list of “children killers”. The students were on a field trip at the end of their summer session. The bus was targeted in the center of Dahyan market, on Thursday, August 9th 2018, killing 52, including 41 children, and injuring 79, including 55 children.

The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Lise Grande, has visited the victims of the US-Saudi Aggression massacre of targeting school bus students in Sa’adah, and cried when she saw the victims. "It is very important for the United Nations to come here and see what is happening," Grande said during her visit.

Grande said that the UN Secretary General has called for an "immediate transparent, comprehensive, independent investigation," into the deadly attack on civilians.

The US-Saudi aggression, however, described the attack as “legitimate,” with coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki even claiming that the strikes “conformed to international and humanitarian laws.”

UNICEF's resident representative in Yemen, Meritxell Relano, has called for an end to Saudi Arabia's war on Yemen and continued massacring of children.

The bomb used in the bombing is the MK82, a 500-pound (227 kg) laser-guided bomb manufactured by Lockheed Martin, one of the largest US Arms companies contracted by the Pentagon, the CNN said. Also, the bomb used in the attack is similar to the bomb used against a funeral in Yemen in October 2016, which killed 155 people and wounded hundreds.

The sad story ends up by the UN unserious calls for ending targeting children in Yemen. By Saudi money and US support, the UN needed less than two years for ignoring Yemeni children's blood. Moreover, it covered the continuous Saudi crimes by removing their names from the UN List of Shame participating with it in causing more massacres.

The US-Saudi aggression brutal massacres did not stop and are committed in various governorates, killing and injuring dozens of the citizens, most of them are children and women.
