News - Yemen: The spokesman of the Interior Ministry, Brigadier General Abdulkhaleq Al-Ajri, explained that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation has achieved tangible success in the framework of controlling and limiting crime.

The criminal investigation in the Capital, Sana'a, and the various governorates seized 1589 different crimes and thwarted 17 serious crimes before their occurrence during February.

The Brigadier General Al-Ajri indicated that revealing the circumstances and mystery of 74 crimes committed in previous periods, resulted from the investigation procedures and gathering evidence, while the perpetrator was still unknown, and the perpetrators were arrested.

He added that 58 wanted men and 125 arrest warrants had been issued against them by the judiciary and prosecution offices were arrested, and the General Administration of Criminal Investigation, during February, arrested 241 members of the US-Saudi aggression.

The Interior Ministry spokesman stated that, during February, the criminal investigation managed to seize 191 crimes of theft in various governorates, recovered 17 cars and 21 stolen motorcycles, in addition to 166 robbery cases on public and private lands.

Brigadier General Al-Ajri praised the achievements made by the leadership and individuals of criminal investigation, and called on citizens to further cooperate with the security services to consolidate security and stability and combat crime.
