Yemen FM Confirms Readiness to Provide Facilities for ICRC to Alleviate Humanitarian Suffering
News-Yemen: Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah stressed on Sunday the need to pressure the countries of US-Saudi aggression to respect international humanitarian law and international human rights law, to end aggression, siege and turn for peace.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Maurer, where the meeting touched on joint activities between Yemen and the International Committee of Red Cross, especially what is related to the Committee's activity during the coming period in Yemen.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the readiness to provide the necessary facilities for the work of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission and its workers to perform their tasks.
The President of the International Committee of the Red Cross reviewed the activities of the Committee in Yemen, stressing the keenness of the ICRC delegation to provide all possible aspects of support to the Yemeni people in order to alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
