Yemen: With the aim of obstructing liberating, the last stronghold of US-Saudi mercenaries in northeastern Yemen in Marib, the coalition opened a new front in Al-Baidha towards the areas where the previous confrontations between the Army and the Popular Committees had stopped at the end of 2020.

Sana’a forces quickly repositioned and established their points around the city of Marib, Within two days, it was able to restore the control of the Al-Zahir district and all the areas that were controlled by Al-Qaeda in Al-Baidha.

According to experts, the advance of the Sana’a forces to this depth indicates the pre-prepared strategic plan that may have found the opportunity to implement it, or that al-Qaeda sudden collapse and its fragility and weakness led to this result and the development of the attack.
