Yemeni Popular Revolution Overcoming 7 Years Challenges, Facing US-Saudi Aggression

Yemen:   The commemoration of the September 21 revolution, during 7 years of US-Saudi aggression, confirms that its victory is inevitable.

This revolution did not and will not die by airstrikes, weapons of all the world’s armies, hitting the economy, and controlling ports and seaports. It will not die as long as there is someone who believes in its greatness and realizes its consequences and works to revive it every year. It will not die while there are men reviving it with their guns on the battlefronts, by their articles in the media, and with their mouths in every international and local forum.

The revolution, which came from the humanitarian and moral need in order to save an entire population, defending it from the foreign control which controls its political, economic and even social decisions, and even imposes guardianship on it.

The shake caused by the September 21 revolution, regarding “liberation from foreign tutelage,” led those countries that used to interfere in Yemeni affairs, especially Saudi Arabia and the US, to launch an unjust aggression against Yemen and its great people.

They found that their interests, which they believed would not be achieved in Yemen, except by controlling its political decision and imposing local mercenaries at the head of the government, will not be achieved anymore.

The US and Saudi regimes enjoyed interfering in Yemen affairs, especially since the Saudi ambassador and his counterpart the American ambassador were acting as if they were the decision makers in Yemen during the rule of previous regimes. However, after the revolution the American ambassador while leaving the capital, Sana'a, said, "that we have nothing left to do."

Despite the difficult situations that the revolution faced at its beginning, as the US-Saudi mercenaries handed over the country’s wealth to foreigners in exchange for their personal interests, leaving ministries, institutions and government facilities and fleeing with their money to Saudi Arabia, the expected collapse for the Yemeni Government had not happened.

This steadfastness led the US-Saudi coalition to take the decision of war and aggression to undermine the Yemeni state and people.
