News - Yemen: President Mahdi Al-Mashat warned the forces of aggression against passing up peace opportunities on the 58th anniversary of the Glorious 14th October Revolution.

In a speech on Wednesday evening, the President made it clear that the 14th October Revolution is an important measure in the issue of strict sorting between the inheritors of honorable history and the inheritors of shameful positions in history.

He pointed out that the Saudi-mercenaries avoid celebrating the October Revolution, and avoid much talk about it, because they stand in contrast to its essence.

President Al-Mashat said that the October Revolution and all the revolutions of history against foreign aggression confirm that glory is for those who stand with their country and people.

He pointed out that just as the old invader got involved in entering Yemen and then left it in the end, the new invader will inevitably leave with a similar situation.

Regarding Sana'a keenness for peace, President Al-Mashat affirmed that Sana'a was and will remain the most keen on peace and one of the most important factors of peace and security in the region and the world, and to it the credit for the stability and security of navigation in the Red Sea is due.

"Sana'a stands today in the advanced front lines in confronting Al-Qaeda and Daesh terrorism, in defense of its security and people and the security and interests of all humanity," he said.

He noted that Sana'a is the legitimate and realistic representative of the Yemeni State in terms of land, people and history. “Every inch occupied in our dear Yemen will be cleansed of the occupation at all costs.”

Al-Mashat called on the opponents, saying: "I call on our opponents in some components of the coalition not to trust the false promises and false illusions of the US and Britain, which represent the other component of this aggressive, brutal and hateful coalition."

He also called on them to take a sincere and practical initiative to end the aggression, siege and occupation, address the effects and repercussions of this unjust war, and respect the sovereignty, independence, security and stability of Yemen.

President Al-Mashat affirmed, by saying: "In return, we are fully prepared for a comprehensive and lasting peace and to enter into mutual guarantees and commitments to address concerns and promote the legitimate interests of both sides."

At the same time, he strongly warned of the danger of continuing the aggression and siege on Yemen, and of the consequences of ignoring these sincere and disastrous calls to continue wasting peace opportunities.
