News - Yemen: Yemeni Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology condemned the targeting of communication networks and towers in a number of districts of Sa'adah and Amran governorates in the past days.  

In a statement, the ministry pointed that US-Saudi aggression destroyed networks, stopped the service in these areas and depriving citizens of telecommunications services, compounding their sufferings and reveal the Aggression's criminal goals.

The ministry holds the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries responsible for all the full-fledged war crimes they committed against Yemen. It condemned the UN and international community's silence towards the US-Saudi crimes in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the US and other key Western powers, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing Hadi’s government back to power and crushing Ansarullah.

Having failed to reach its professed goals, the war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.

Despite heavily-armed Saudi Arabia’s continuous bombardment of the country, Yemeni armed forces and the Popular Committees have grown steadily in strength against the Saudi invaders and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country.

Recently, the US-Saudi aggression escalated its raids by launching a series of raids on a number of governorates. 

Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly warned the Saudi regime to stop its war, promising the regime larger and painful operations if it continues its aggression and siege on the country.

Last week, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a large-scale military operation inside Saudi Arabia, hitting the Arab kingdom’s Khaled air base in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Aramco Jeddah refineries, Abha International Airport in Asir and various military targets in Abha, Jizan and Najran province, using 14 domestically-developed combat drones.
