News - Yemen: The Ministry of Education condemned the targeting, by the US-Saudi aggression, of educational facilities at the intersection of Baghdad and Al-Zubayri streets, which led to severe damage to the building of the Teacher Support, Projects Fund, the Educational Aids Production Center, and the Baghdad School.

It denounced in a statement this criminal act, which comes within a series of crimes and systematic attacks through which the aggression's warplanes target civilians and the educational process pillars since the beginning of the aggression.

The Statement condemned the international silence regarding the crimes of aggression against the Yemeni people that contradict international charters, norms, laws and monotheistic religions, considering these crimes to reflect the level of psychological and moral defeat and the moral collapse of the forces of aggression.

It appealed to the free people of the world, human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume responsibility in supporting the Yemeni people, condemning the horrific crimes committed by the US-Saudi aggression, and putting pressure on the Security Council to carry out its legal and moral duty to protect civilians.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the US and other key Western powers, launched its war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing Hadi’s government back to power and crushing Ansarullah.

Having failed to reach its professed goals, the war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.

The US-Saudi aggression has recently escalated its crimes against civilians in various governorates, in light of the internationalist silence, indifferent to the blood of Yemenis that the aggression permits.
