News - Yemen: The Yemeni Military Media released scenes documenting the creep of the UAE mercenaries that was encountered by the Yemeni Armed Forces in Shabwa province.

The scenes showed the destruction of a large number of armored vehicles loaded with UAE mercenaries, with guided missiles and RPGs, in the hands of the Army and the Popular Committees, who dealt professionally with the movements of the mercenaries.

The scenes also showed the killing and injuring of dozens of mercenaries by the Armed Forces’ fire.

The scenes showed that the UAE mercenaries used the population centers and citizens' homes as places for their concentration and protection from the fire of the Armed Forces.

Yemeni Armed Forces thwarted, on Friday, a large military attack by UAE mercenaries towards Ain district in Shabwa and Harib district in Marib governorate without making any progress despite US-Emirati air support.

The spokesman of the Armed Forces, General Brigadier Yahya Sare'e, stated that UAE mercenaries suffered great losses in equipment and lives, pointing that six armored vehicles were destroyed and over 40 of the mercenaries were killed and injured including commanders. Armed Forces targeted UAE mercenaries gatherings and formations with 4 ballistic missiles and a drone. US-Emirati aggression helped its mercenaries with 24 air raids.

The Armed Forces called on the UAE mercenaries and their families to withdraw  from battles that serve only the US agenda in the region. On Thursday, Yemeni Rocketry and Air Forces targeted gatherings of Emirati mercenaries in Shabwa.

General Brigadier Yahya Sare'e, stated that the joint operation targeted, accurately, UAE mercenaries formations while moving towards sites of Yemeni Forces in Ain district.

Sare'e pointed out that a large number of UAE mercenaries were killed and injured in the joint operation. The operation also caused a state of panic among the mercenaries. He pointed out that US-Emirati aggression launched 43 air raids, during the last hours, mostly on Marib and Shabwa governorates.
