News - Yemen: Head of the National Salvation Government, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, stressed, Thursday, that the first step in any dialogue is to stop the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

"The call made by the countries leading the aggression, for dialogue, is coming from the capital directing the aggression," he said.

He also pointed out that Saudi invitations and initiatives are unsuccessful attempts, noting that lifting the siege and opening ports and airports are the conditions for any dialogue with the US-Saudi aggression.

He also stressed that any future dialogue must take place on a neutral geography between Sana'a and Riyadh, explaining that the mediator must be trustworthy and balanced among all parties to the dialogue.

Yemeni Official stated that Yemen welcomes dialogue with coalition in any country that is not part of the aggression against Yemen. "Dialogue must prioritize humanitarian situation and the arbitrary restrictions on Hodeidah's port and Sana'a International Airport," the source said. 

The source pointed that it is not logical nor fair that the inviting and hosting the dialogue is to be announced by a state leading war and siege against Yemen. It is also not right for the coalition of aggression to call for dialogue and send terrorists to detonate people in markets and cities.

Deputy Foreign Minister in the Sana'a government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, said that the ongoing siege on Yemen will remain an indicator of war, with which any talk of peace will be discredited.
