News - Middle East: An Israeli private plane has reportedly landed in the Saudi capital as both Tel Aviv and Riyadh beat drums of “normalization” of relations.

Lebanon’s al-Ahed news website reported the development, citing the Israeli regime’s Channel 11 correspondent Itay Blumental.

The “private executive jet,” 9H-JPC, departed from the Israeli-occupied territories and landed in Riyadh on Monday before a “diplomatic stop” in the Jordanian capital of Amman.

“Normalization is underway” between Saudi Arabia and the occupying entity, the Israeli reporter said.

Back in 2020, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates entered United States-mediated détente deals with the regime.

Observers say, the two regional Arab states would not have been able to sign the deals without the necessary go-ahead from Riyadh, which is seen as Manama and Abu Dhabi’s “big brother.” Morocco and Sudan followed suit by signing similar agreements with Tel Aviv.

The Israeli and Saudi regimes do not have any official relations, but have been fraternizing each other for years.

Also in 2020, former Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly paid a secret visit to Riyadh, meeting there with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
