News - Yemen: Yemeni Parliament has strongly condemned the latest Israeli missile attack on Damascus International Airport, that caused damaged to its facilities and forced flights to be halted.

The Parliament, in its session, Monday, expressed its full solidarity, and the Yemeni people's support for Syria, parliament, leadership and people, in the face of the imperialist and Zionist-American plots against the Syrian people.

The Parliament members denounced the pathetic and reprehensible silence of the international community and regional organizations in the face of the Israeli aggression.

They deplored the Arab silence and the shameful inaction of the countries rushing to normalize with the enemy entity, pointing out that had it not been for the humiliation and dependence of the regimes of humiliation and shame, this entity would not have repented and persisted in aggression against the Arab peoples and their capabilities in Palestine and Syria.

The Parliament called on the free members of the Arab and Islamic parliaments and the world to condemn the attacks carried out by the Zionist entity, calling on the Arab and Islamic nation to stand by Syria in the face of the arrogance of the Israeli enemy and behind it the forces of global arrogance, America and Britain, and to triumph over the nation’s causes, sanctities and capabilities.

The airport was targeted by a volley of missiles fired from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights at approximately 4:20 a.m. local time (01:20 GMT) on Friday, state media reported.

The Syrian Ministry of Transport said in a statement on Saturday that runways remained out of service at the airport following the attack.
