News - Yemen: Defense Minister affirmed, Friday, that the US-Saudi aggression must understand that Yemeni Armed Forces possess military professionalism with high-impact and technical weapons.

Major General Muhammad al-Atifi said during his visit to the Armed Forces of the Sixth Military Region, "The confidence of our people and its revolutionary leadership in the heroes on the frontlines stems from the fact that they have the right to fight against arrogance and tyrants, and confront the occupiers and invaders."

Minister Al-Atifi pointed out that the US-Saudi aggression has prepared to occupy Yemen and plunder its resources; however, it neglected the ability of the Yemeni people and its Armed forces who were able to turn the equation in their favor.

He promised the US-Saudi aggression that the defense system and missiles that they are tempted to possess from the Patriots have no influence, and they will not be able to monitor our ballistic missiles and drones. “Our Yemeni expertise in the military industry has reached advanced levels of military technology, which the fields of confrontation will show,” he added.

Enjoying complete arms, logistical, and political support on the part of the US, Saudi Arabia and a number of its allies started a war against Yemen in March 2015 to restore power to Yemen's former Washington and Riyadh-aligned officials.

The war has stopped way short of the goal, while killing tens of thousands of Yemenis in the process and pushing the entire Yemen close to the brink of outright famine.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed, though, not to lay down their arms until Yemen's complete liberation from the US-Saudi aggression.

Saudi Arabia is keen to bring in combat drones from multiple countries to gain qualitative air superiority, most notably US, China and Turkey.

With the ability of the Yemeni air defense to shoot down these drones despite their development, it limits the air superiority of the coalition of aggression, thus weakening the card it is betting on in the battlefield.

In the outcome of the air defense's achievements, the coalition of aggression lost dozens of its various aircraft, warplanes and drones.
