News - Yemen: What the Ministry of Interior has achieved shows the failure of the enemies’ efforts to bring this institution and its security services to collapse, the Leader of the Revolution stressed, pointing out that Yemen is ready to contribute to security cooperation and coordination in terms of protecting the peoples of the Nation.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi’s speech came during a massive military parade in the capital Sana’a on Thursday.

“Security is a necessity for the stability of life and a mainstay for renaissance and construction,” Sayyed Abdulmalik said, stressing that security is one of the most important responsibilities, and one of the most sacred responsibilities.

"The security establishment, the Ministry of Interior and its various important security formations are moving within the framework of their sacred tasks to protect this people, and in order to establish security and stability by relying on Allah Almighty first," he added, pointing out that it is a twin of the Ministry of Defense in protecting this people.

The Leader confirmed that what the Ministry of Interior has achieved after the massive targeting clearly shows the failure of the enemies’ efforts to bring this institution and its security services to collapse.

“Today it is stronger and more effective in carrying out its tasks and more successful.”

He stressed that security and stability are among the legitimate rights of Yemenis, pointing out that the enemies' targeting of Yemenis for their security and stability reveals the reality of their hostile goals, and the nature of their battle against this people.

Sayyed Abdulmalik warned the enemies against continuing their plots to target Yemen in its security and stability.

"We will make every effort - Allah willing - to thwart all their diabolical and criminal endeavors."

He also affirmed that the security of the country is in the interest of all the neighboring and Arab and Islamic peoples.

“Our country is present to contribute to security cooperation for the benefit of all of our Nation, and for security coordination in the matter of protecting the peoples of our Nation,” the Leader said.

Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that “the main strength of our security force is that it enjoys faith education, Quranic culture, and bears the sincerity of loyalty and belonging to the identity of our Yemeni people.”

The Leader of the Revolution concluded his speech by saying: "We pray to Allah Almighty to have mercy on the martyr of the Interior, dear brother martyr Taha al-Madani and all the martyrs of the Ministry of Interior, who, in addition to their security duties, were also present on various fronts to defend our country and our people."

The military parade was held at al-Sabeen Square, the main square of national celebrations in the Yemeni capital, with high-ranking political and security officials as well as senior military commanders in attendance.

In the event, overseen by the Leader of Revolution, units from different divisions of the Yemeni Army, including the Ground Force and the Air Defense, displayed their achievements.

A broad range of advanced equipment such as missiles, armored vehicles, rifles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and air defense missile systems were put on display.
