News - Yemen: The Presidency of the Shura Council and Parliament, Saturday, praised the qualitative development of the Ministry of Interior’s organs and blessed the success of the massive military parade in the capital Sana’a on Thursday.

The head and members of the parliament congratulated the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, and President Mahdi al-Mashat, for leading the Ministry of Interior and the Yemeni people on these security achievements.

They reiterated their thanks for the efforts made by the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff, and the leaders and employees of the Ministry of Defense in order to upgrade the Yemeni military capabilities, stressing that military and security achievements are not directed against anyone, but rather to defend Yemen's land and people and to enhance stability in the region.

The members of the Council denounced the continuation of the international community, the United Nations and the Security Council in the blatant bias and policy of double standards regarding Yemeni issue.

They called on the Security Council, the United Nations and its affiliated organizations to t responsibility for the victory of the injustices of the Yemeni people by working on the complete opening of Yemeni airports and ports, allowing the flow of fuel ships without any conditions, resolving the issue of the economic file, ending the artificial economic crises and stopping the looting of the Yemeni people’s wealth of oil, gas and wealth. The Navy and allocating the proceeds from this to disburse the salaries of employees and improve services in all governorates.

On the other hand, the presidency of the Shura Council considered this development as one of the achievements of the September 21 revolution.

Shura Council pointed out that this qualitative shift in the security system represents a message to the enemies that the Yemeni people have become the impregnable security fence capable of protecting their security and stability.

The military parade was held at al-Sabeen Square, the main square of national celebrations in the Yemeni capital, with high-ranking political and security officials as well as senior military commanders in attendance.

In the event, overseen by the Leader of Revolution, units from different divisions of the Yemeni Army, including the Ground Force and the Air Defense, displayed their achievements.

A broad range of advanced equipment such as missiles, armored vehicles, rifles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and air defense missile systems were put on parade.
