Armed Forces Warn Oil Companies if Looting of Yemen's Oil Continues

News - Yemen: Armed Forces warned oil companies operating in the UAE and Saudi Arabia to stop working as the truce comes to an end. The Armed Forces announced that these companies were given an opportunity to arrange leaving before the situation escalates.

"The Armed Forces are giving the Oil companies operating in the UAE and Saudi Arabia an opportunity to arrange for their leave," the Armed Forces spokesman, Yahya Saree, said.

He stressed that our Armed Forces are able to deprive the Saudis and Emiratis of their resources if they insist on depriving our "the Yemeni people of their resources."

This comes as the first warning from the Armed Forces, a few hours after the end of the UN-Sponsored truce, without agreeing to extend it due to the intransigence and evasion of the US-Saudi aggression.

The Supreme Political Council affirmed that our Armed Forces will not stand idly by if the aggression and siege continues, calling on the US-Saudi aggression to immediately end their aggression and siege.

For its part, Defense Minister, Major General Mohammed al-Atifi, affirmed, Sunday, that the lands, waters, seas and wealth of the Republic of Yemen are the basis of Yemeni sovereignty, and the Armed Forces are committed to protect them.

At the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff, Major General Al-Atifi said, "Everyone must understand that we should not neglect sovereignty as long as we are alive."

He added, "Our people have the right to be proud of the achieved victories by the Armed and Security Forces, and for the great achievements in terms of construction, modernization and development."

He pointed out that military parades conveyed powerful and influential messages, and everyone should realize that they are in front of a free national will of faith led by a national leader distinguished by awareness, wisdom and foresight.

On Saturday, Yemeni Armed Forces warned the US-Saudi aggression and foreign companies of continuing looting the wealth of the Yemeni people.

"After directives to the concerned authorities to address all shipping and maritime companies, that have destinations to the countries of aggression, as well as the foreign and local oil companies operating in Yemen, Armed Forces alert these companies to take the warnings that will be issued," the official spokesman for the Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e said.

"The warnings will be issued immediately after truce's ending time if Yemens' rightful demands are not met," he added

Sare'e confirmed that the Armed Forces are prepared and ready for any developments that hold these companies responsible for ignoring what will be issued in the coming hours.

In a phone call with President Mahdi Al-Mashat the Armed Forces announced their readiness for the directives of the leadership, stressing that they will be on the side of the Yemeni people in obtaining their legitimate rights.

This comes a few hours before the end of the UN-Sponsored truce, in light of the procrastination of the US-Saudi aggression in implementing the humanitarian and legal entitlements of the Yemeni people.

President Mashat confirmed last Wednesday that disbursing the salaries of all state employees is a basic demand for the Yemeni people.

Earlier, President, Mahdi Al-Mashat, issued directives to edit the final official correspondence of all companies to completely stop looting wealth.

A statement issued by the Supreme Economic Committee stated that the committee is coordinating with the competent authorities to edit these correspondences, and that it must permanently stop looting Yemeni sovereign wealth, starting at six o'clock in the evening Sunday.

The committee indicated that the communications that will be directed to the companies involved in looting Yemeni wealth will be based on the constitutional texts and Yemeni laws that obligate the state to protect and preserve national wealth.

The Supreme Economic Council confirmed that Yemen reserves its legal right to deal with all the looting of Yemeni wealth, which was carefully monitored during the past periods.
