News - Yemen: The Southern National Front  announced its rejection of the sale of the port of Qishn in Al-Mahra Governorate to a fictitious Emirati company.

In a statement, Wednesday, it confirmed the illegality of any deals carried out by the pro-aggression government, including the sale of the port of Qishn. It condemned the pro-aggression government's violations of national sovereignty and the sale of Yemen's port to its enemies, and considered the Qishn port deal a new crime added to the crimes of aggression against Yemen in the occupied southern governorates.

The statement holds the Pro-US-Saudi aggression government responsible for giving the port to the Emirati enemy through a company called "Egham and Mining" affiliated to leaders loyal to Abu Dhabi.

The statement stated that the pro-aggression government agreed to the deal despite knowing that the company is fictitious, and that the aim of the deal is to turn the port of Qishn into a closed military port for the UAE forces for a period of 50 years.

It also called on all the free people in the southern governorates to thwart this conspiracy that violates national sovereignty and usurps the most important Yemen's ports.

Recently, Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi, head of the Al-Mahra sit-in committee, revealed that a leader of the so-called "Southern Transitional Council" backed by the UAE sold Qishn port to the Saudi occupation, pointing out that the people of Mahra will not waste an inch of their land.

He pointed out that the people of Mahra do not recognize the so-called "Presidential Leadership Council", because this council was appointed by the Saudi and Emirati occupation, and they do not recognize "legitimacy", considering that it is the legitimacy of the people.

He pointed out that the struggle of the people of Mahra during the past years led to the withdrawal of the occupation for more than 90% of its forces, saying: "The people of Mahra will soon control the wealth of their land and ports,".

He had confirmed that the UAE is receiving Israelis in Socotra, and that it has controlled the island of Socotra since June 2020 through its arms represented by the separatist transitional militia.

For its part, The Council condemned the agreement signed between the representative of the so-called Transitional Council in the government of agents of the coalition of aggression and the US-Saudi-Emirati occupation and a fictitious Emirati company, to exploit the fish port of Qishn to plunder mineral resources

It instructed the Ministries of Transport and Fisheries and the leadership of the Governor of Al-Mahrah, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to prepare a comprehensive scientific study on the site and the dangerous effects of the occupiers’ takeover of the port of Qishn.
