National Negotiating Delegation Warnes: State of No Peace Nor War Will Not Continue

News - Yemen: Member of national delegation, Hamid Assem, confirmed that people of Yemen stand behind the leadership in rejecting the US and Saudi occupation ambitions.

He explained that the people of Yemen rejected the continuation of the state of no peace nor war, either war or negotiations leading to a clear solution.

Mr. Assem pointed out that popular protests last year were followed with what was called "breaking the siege" military operations, Recent protests will have the same consequences.

"We advise the US, the Saudi regime to take Sana'a's warnings seriously, either real peace or return to military escalation," he said.

For its part, the Supreme Political Council renewed its rejection of the continuation of the state of no peace and nor war, which the US-Saudi aggression aims to keep Yemen in, stressing that it will not continue indefinitely.

This came during its meeting, chaired by Mahdi Al-Mashat, where the council was briefed on the existing contacts regarding the talks between Yemen and coalition  related to stopping the aggression and lifting the siege, and its results.

The meeting reaffirmed Yemen's firm stance towards peace that protects Yemen's sovereignty and independence and preserves its unity, welcoming all serious steps in this context.

It pointed out that keenness to achieve peace in Yemen should be embodied by responding to the rights of citizens, foremost of which is the payment of salaries to all state employees and the lifting of the comprehensive blockade.

Recently, the Parliament renewed its support for the efforts of Sayyed Abdulmalik and the Supreme Political Council in support of peace options that preserve Yemen's unity, security and stability.

The council appreciated in a statement the keenness of Sayyed Abdulmalik and the political council to benefit from Yemen's oil and gas wealth to improve services and pay the salaries of state employees.

In a statement issued, the commission praised the Omani mediation efforts, and Sana'a's keenness to get out of the state of no peace nor war, to end the suffering of the people of Yemen.

It stressed the importance of achieving the demands of the people of Yemen and their choices that reject aggression and siege, in addition to stopping the tampering with this wealth by the mercenary government.

It warned against exploiting the US-Saudi aggression in the period after the end of the truce to conclude suspicious deals to harm the interests of the people of Yemen and circumvent the peace efforts undertaken by the Omani mediation.

It praised the level of readiness announced by Yemen's Armed Forces and its ability to confront the aggressors and support the cause of the people of Yemen and their choices, peace or war.
