News - Yemen: The Yemen President, Mahdi Al-Mashat, praised the achievements of the Armed Forces in breaking the plans of the coalition over the past eight years.

The President, during his meeting with the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammad Al-Atifi, indicated that the Armed Forces presented the finest model of sacrifice, in defense of Yemen, its sovereignty and independence.

Al-Mashat stressed the importance of preparing and training the Armed Forces, referring to the full readiness to defend the homeland at any time.

The President praised the development of personnel capabilities and the development of locally manufactured weapons.

 Earlier,  "The Armed Forces have advanced levels of monitoring of the Yemeni and the ability to protect sovereignty and wealth," the Armed Forces spokesman, Yahya Sare'e, said.

 He pointed out that the armed forces did the same thing previously and they were able to impose an equation in the balance of deterrence with the enemy by responding with missiles and drones to the bombing that was targeting Sana'a and other provinces.

 For its part, Defense Minister, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, affirmed, that the land, waters and wealth of Yemen are the basis of Yemen's sovereignty, and the Armed Forces are committed to Protecting them.

 At the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff, Major General Al-Atifi said, "Everyone must understand that we should not neglect sovereignty as long as we are alive."

 He added, "Our people have the right to be proud of the achieved victories by the Armed and Security Forces, and for the great achievements in terms of construction, modernization and development."
