Sayyed Abdulmalik: Last Chance for US-Saudi Aggression to Stop

Yemen: After nearly five months of negotiations, and without tangible practical results, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi presented what can be described as a "last chance" to the countries of aggression and the Omani mediator, that the long process of negotiations cannot continue indefinitely without resolving the humanitarian issue first and foremost.

This came as part of a speech that lasted for two hours but a third, in which he spoke about the martyr leader Hussein Al-Houthi on the anniversary of his martyrdom, in which he refuted the false American headlines, and reviewed the methods of targeting our nation, as he explained the manifestations of the civilizational conflict against our nation, and how this should be confronted.

Within this speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik devoted eight minutes, in which he drew equations and features of the next stage after eight years of war and presented the last opportunity to the countries of aggression.

He sent eight messages that combined clarification and dispelling ambiguity about the course of the negotiations, diagnosing the stage in Yemen, thanking the Sultanate of Oman, warning and advising the US-Saudi aggression, and reassuring Yemeni People and calling for vigilance, readiness, and popular mobilization in anticipation of what would happen.

In his first message, Sayyed Abdulmalik dispelled the ambiguity regarding the course of the complex bilateral negotiations between Sana'a and Riyadh and explained that "there was no Truce agreement" during the months following the end of the UN-sponsored truces on October 2, 2022, and that "the stage is a war stage" despite "a simple humanitarian breakthrough in the US-imposed siege, and a reduction in military escalation."

As for the second message, it was a message of thanks to the Omani mediation, and giving them the opportunity to succeed in their endeavors, appreciating their dealings with the Yemeni people on the principle of good neighborliness.

On the other hand, Sayyed Abdulmalik, in his third message, advised and warned the countries of US-Saudi aggression, that "our patience will run out if you do not initiate a serious and practical understanding in the humanitarian and living issue,"

He hinted in his fourth message about "pressing options" in the event that time runs out without a practical understanding on entitlements of the people and their rights in their wealth of oil, gas and others.

He reinforced this with a fifth and a sixth, in which he renewed that "it is not acceptable to deprive our people of their national wealth in entitlements related to salaries and public services,” and that “we cannot ignore the humanitarian issue and we will not be silent about it and we will not waste this priority for the sake of any other priority."

He added that “solving the humanitarian issue is the key to peace, and peace consists of ending aggression, siege and occupation."

In view of the efforts of the forces of aggression to cool the will of the people, distract them and make them busy with marginal issues, in exchange for their suspicious movements, their militarization of militias, and their formation under names such as "Shield of the Nation and others".

Sayyed Abdulmalik warned of the necessity of "vigilance and raising readiness in anticipation of any future possibilities that may include a return to escalation and military war."

Through these eight points, several very important matters can be concluded, as follows:

First: that these messages may be the last chance for the countries of aggression, from a man of his word and deed far from maneuvering and playing with time; Because it came for the first time in nearly five months, devoid of bilateral negotiations between Sana’a and Riyadh, whether in Sana’a or Muscat.

Second: Exposing the Saudi regime, which is trying to present itself as a mediator and not a party to the negotiations, Sayyed thanked the Sultanate of Oman to confirm that the negotiations between Riyadh and Sana'a were primarily mediated by Omani.

Third: Absolutely blocking any US-Saudi international endeavors, to drag the discussions to any other issues before deciding on the humanitarian issue and its resolution, and this is evident by focusing on the priority of the humanitarian issue as the "key to the solution", and not the whole solution.

Sana'a is negotiating from a position of strength, not from a position of weakness, and it still has "pressure options" on the countries of aggression, and what is far more than that is its readiness to "military presence alongside the Palestinians according to requirements and events."

In addition, the warning and advice messages were decisive, that the countries of aggression should eliminate procrastination and betting on the time from their diplomatic vocabulary, and immediately take advantage of the last opportunity to resolve humanitarian issues that do not accept delay, otherwise their economic priorities will be blown by the storm of Yemen.

In parallel with these decisive messages to the countries of aggression, Sayyed Abdulmalik presented messages of reassurance to the people, dispelling any doubts that might creep into the mind of any Yemeni citizen that the leadership and the national negotiating delegation could never neglect the sacrifices of the people, and the national constants that Sayyed considered "red lines".

The red lines are Yemen’s sovereignty, independence, unity, dignity and rights. As evidenced by his indication that these entitlements (salaries, blockade of the port and airport, etc.) are only a key to peace for humanitarian purposes, not an end to peace, and that the peace sought by Sana’a are necessarily: “ending aggression, siege and occupation, without accepting the current military reality, which It is intended by dividing and splitting Yemen.”

In conclusion, the speech and messages were directed primarily to the countries of aggression as the owners of the decision of war and peace, and as the owners of weapons and warplanes that killed the Yemenis, decimated them and destroyed their country, and also they (the countries of aggression) are the ones who own the military naval vessels to blockade Yemen.

Therefore it is not possible to enter into negotiations with those who do not have any decision (US-Saudi mercenaries), under whatever name they are, because in the first and last they are just workers used by the countries of aggression to achieve their goals and ambitions. It is not acceptable for the US, Saudi Arabia and the UAE to push them to the negotiating table, and slip away from the consequences of the war and what it has reaped against Yemen and Yemenis over eight years, without paying a heavy price.
