In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Parliament denounced the condemnation of the normalization regimes for the two operations of Al-Quds and the bus station, which came in response to the crimes committed by the Zionist entity forces.
"These governments did not instruct themselves to condemn the crimes committed by the enemy forces before and after these heroic operations," it added.
The Parliament also strongly condemned the UAE regime's announcement of blocking a vote on a draft resolution calling on the Zionist entity to immediately and completely stop all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian Arab territories.
It considered that measure as a dangerous precedent crime that requires popular, media and political action to enlighten Arab public opinion of what those puppet governments and regimes have done. "They neglected the cause of the central Arab Nation, Palestine, and are still rushing to offer more submission and concessions."
The Parliament held the UAE regime fully responsible for obstructing the vote on this decision and its consequences.
It called on the Arab and Islamic parliaments to adopt the cause of the Palestinian people and their oppression, and to condemn the Emirati regime’s action on this crime.
"This crime confiscates the right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation and restore the usurped lands, leading to the establishment of a Palestinian state on all Palestinian soil with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital," it added.
The Parliament considered this move a betrayal of the hopes and aspirations of the people of the Arab and Islamic Nation, and a betrayal of the cause and the Palestinian people and their courageous resistance.
The members of the Parliament called for a broad movement against the Zionist enemy entity and exposed the destructive role of the Emirati regime in the Palestinian interior in favor of the enemy entity by disorganizing the Palestinian ranks.
The Parliament held the UN Security Council responsible for complicity in preventing a vote on the draft resolution and shirking its duties and responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people and stopping the ongoing attacks and violations against them.
On Monday, the UAE has informed the United Nations Security Council of its decision to no longer call for a vote on a draft resolution against Israel's expansion of illegal settlements, following intervention by the United States.
After Israel's new far-right government announced earlier this month that it will lift all restrictions on the building of illegal settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, many nations throughout the Arab world and the West condemned the move in varying degrees.
The Palestinian Authority and the UAE had also decided to call for a vote at the UNSC for a resolution which "reaffirms that the establishment by Israel of settlements in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, has no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law." It would have demanded that Israel "immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory".
In a near last minute decision before the UNSC meeting today, however, the UAE and PA withdrew their intent to call for the vote, with senior diplomats and officials revealing that pressure by the Americans had changed their minds, as well as a reported deal offering Palestinians incentives in return for their restraint.#Yemen #Palestine #Israel #UAE #Parliament about week
