Supreme Political Council: Sayyed Abdulmalik's Warnings Are Clear, Aggression Must Not Delay

News - Yemen: The Supreme Political Council affirmed that the warnings of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, in his recent speech, are clear to all those keen on establishing peace in Yemen and the region and procrastination on these messages must not continue.

This came during the Council's meeting, Sunday, headed by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, in which he reviewed the latest developments regarding the political issue.

The Council indicated adherence to the priority of the humanitarian issue in any dialogues, as it is a humanitarian and legal entitlement of the Yemeni people.

The council listened to statements from President Al-Mashat about the latest ongoing communications regarding the various topics of the negotiations that took place with the delegations that visited Sana'a and stood before the existing obstacles that the leadership is studying in preserving Yemen's sovereignty and extracting the rights of the Yemeni people through various paths and options.

The Supreme Political Council reaffirmed the unity of Yemen and its rejection of all foreign military presence on Yemeni territory, including the American, British, Saudi and Emirati, and that the Yemeni people have the right to deal with it as an aggression and occupation, and to take all options to achieve complete freedom and complete independence.

The Supreme Political Council held the countries of the aggression coalition fully responsible for plundering the national wealth and depriving the people of it over the past eight years, cutting the salaries of all state employees and stopping services, and affirmed its rejection and condemnation of the American efforts to obstruct understandings regarding the disbursement of salaries of employees from their national wealth.

The supreme politician called on the United Nations to distance itself from the legitimacy of the blockade on Yemen, denouncing the measures to obstruct the arrival of ships to the port of Hodeidah.

The Supreme Political Council also called on the United Nations and its teams not to get involved in imposing any practices that lead to obstructing the arrival of ships.

The leader of Ansarullah movement said, "The United States of America seeks to obstruct the Omani efforts by keeping the coalition of aggression away from any possible agreement or understanding, and this is totally unacceptable," adding that "the humanitarian file is a top priority in the negotiations."
He pointed out that "the US coalition cannot evade any obligations or agreements because it is the side aggressing Yemen."

"The Americans, the British, the Saudis, and the Emiratis should know that they must assume their responsibilities within the framework of any agreement,” Al-Houthi stressed, adding, "The sources of wealth are occupied by the coalition and under its control, depriving the [Yemeni] people of them for 8 years.”
The Yemeni leader accused the US of trying to postpone the withdrawal of foreign forces from Yemen for an indefinite period, stressing that “this matter is essential for us, and we do not accept it."

He further confirmed that "Yemen cannot accept the presence of any invading or occupying forces in any province or island, because that would be direct interference in our country’s affairs." He also pointed out that "the American and British presence in Yemen is aggression and occupation, and it cannot be accepted, and we deal with it as an occupying force."

In this context, Al-Houthi addressed Washington, saying, "You have to withdraw your forces from Yemen," stressing that "our aim is to defeat your forces, whether in the provinces or islands, and we will continue with all options to purify our country from any such presence."
