News - Yemen: Yemen’s ambassador to Syria Abdullah Sabri affirmed on Thursday that resistance remains the least costly option in the life of nations and peoples.

Sabri’s remarks came in Yemen's speech during the eleventh conference of the Global Gathering to Support the Option of Resistance, in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Sabri stressed that resistance is the closest way and the right direction to restore rights, preserve dignity and protect gains.

“As we celebrate the anniversary of the victory in Lebanon, the battle of revenge of the free people and the victory of the Palestinian resistance still fuels the flame of hope,” he added.

He stressed the need to expand the circle of the concept of resistance to include economic integration between countries and societies, in a way that leads to a balance between production and consumption.

Thursday morning, the eleventh conference of the International Gathering to Support the Choice of Resistance kicked off on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

On May 25 of each year, Lebanon celebrates the defeat of the Zionist enemy army from most of the Lebanese lands it occupied in 1978.

On this day in 2000, the resistance won and defeated the enemy army and defeated it from the lands of southern Lebanon without any restrictions, conditions or any negotiations or agreements with the entity.
