News - Yemen: The Information Center in the Moral Guidance Department in Sana'a monitored 204 armed and unarmed crimes and violations in the US-Saudi-UAE-occupied territories during last August, which resulted in the killing and injuring of 227 citizens.

It is worth emphasizing here that what was monitored is only the crimes that were reported and documented by the media. While the number of crimes and victims exceeds this statistic.

According to the report, the crimes monitored varied between murder, confrontations, kidnapping, dismemberment, torture to death, theft, extortion, as well as assassination and assassination attempts in cities and residential neighborhoods on an almost daily basis.

The total number of crimes of insecurity reached 15 out of 21 crimes and violations that occurred in Abyan last August.

While the crimes and other violations in Abyan during the same period were represented by 4 violations and looting.

Lahj Governorate

It is noteworthy that the case of poisoning that afflicted 40 people in Lahj revealed another, more horrific crime, amid the starvation policy that the aggression coalition deliberately uses, even against the people of the occupied areas. Spoiled fish were sold with low prices therefore the citizens rushed to buy them due to the deterioration of the economy.

Marib Governorate

In Marib, the report monitored 12 crimes and violations that occurred last August in this governorate, where the US-Saudi aggression and mercenaries control only the equivalent of 4 districts.

Massive fire consumed about 70 homes and tents of the displaced and led to the death of a child. Three days later, another displaced child also died but due to malnutrition.

As for the crimes of security chaos, in this governorate, which the mercenaries of the aggression claim is the safest among the rest of the occupation areas, there were 5 crimes, distributed between the bombing of a military vehicle and acts of cutting off oil derivatives tankers by unknown gunmen.

The most prominent crime was the kidnapping of 2 workers of Doctors Without Borders, less than a month after the assassination of the Jordanian UN worker Muayad Hamidi, the official of the World Food Program in Taiz. 

The occupation areas in Marib also witnessed two separate kidnapping crimes targeting a journalist and a tribal sheikh from Abidah.

Hadhramaut Governorate

In Hadhramaut, crimes of violations against the people of the governorate amounted to 12 crimes. Three people were killed and 10 others were injured among members of the so-called “elite”, who were beaten by Emirati officers. It is the most prominent event and violation that has escalated anger among the mercenaries of the aggression due to their demands for their rights from delayed salaries.

During the same period, Hadramout also witnessed an escalation in popular protests and demonstrations, which led to the protesters blocking roads and main lines due to the collapse of the most important services.
