News - Yemen: In a grand military parade, the largest since the September 21 Revolution, the Yemeni Armed Forces unveiled on Thursday an arsenal of advanced strategic and new weapons that recently entered service. In this report, we will review information about these strategic weapons and their specifications as follows:

New Strategic Missiles:

Quds 4 Missile:

A long-range, surface-to-surface, precision-guided missile with high radar evasion capabilities.

 

Quds Z-0 Missile:

A long-range cruise missile, surface-to-sea, capable of accurately targeting both stationary and moving land and sea targets, characterized by immense destructive power.

 

Siyad Cruise Missile:

A cruise missile with a range of up to 800 km, known for its high precision and stealth capabilities against enemy radars. It can be launched from any point in Yemeni territory towards the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Aden. It is used to strike both stationary and moving targets, with a warhead weighing 200 kg.

 

Tofan Ballistic Missile System:

Long-range, liquid-fueled, strategic surface-to-surface missiles with high accuracy.

 

Aqeel Missile:

A long-range ballistic missile, surface-to-surface, fueled by liquid propellant, known for its target accuracy.

 

Tankaheel Missile System:

A medium-range ballistic missile system, surface-to-surface and surface-to-sea, fueled by solid propellant.

 

Miyoun Missile:

A medium-range ballistic missile, surface-to-sea, fueled by solid propellant. It is capable of accurately targeting both stationary and moving maritime targets, and it possesses immense destructive power.
 
 

Badr 4 Missile:

A medium-range ballistic missile, surface-to-surface, fueled by solid propellant. It is known for its high precision in hitting targets.

 

Matie Ballistic Missile:

A surface-to-air missile fueled by solid propellant, characterized by its aerial maneuverability and high speed.
 
 

Sejil Maritime Missile:

A winged cruise missile with a range of 180 km, fueled by both solid and liquid propellants. It has a length of 3.6 meters and a warhead weighing 100 kg. It is known for its accuracy and can target any target in the Red Sea.

 

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs):

Wi'ed 2 UAV:

An attack UAV with a range of 2,000 km, equipped with a high-explosive and fragmentation warhead. It takes off from a fixed ground.
 
 

Air Defense:

Saker 2 Missile:

An air defense missile with a range of 150 km and an altitude of 35,000 feet. It has a highly explosive warhead and advanced technology to counter jamming and electronic warfare. It is used to intercept reconnaissance aircraft and cruise missiles. It has entered service after undergoing several tests to meet the challenges of the current stage.

 

 Barq 1 Missile:

An air defense missile with a range of 50 km and an altitude of 15 km. It has a highly explosive and fragmentation warhead, as well as advanced technologies that enable it to easily track and strike targets.

 

Barq 2 Missile:

An air defense missile with a range of 70 km and an altitude of 20 km. It has a highly explosive and fragmentation warhead, as well as high maneuverability capabilities that allow it to easily track and target enemy aircraft. It is used to intercept close, medium-range, armed and unarmed reconnaissance targets.

 

Shafaq Radar and Horizon System:

It is a tactical system known for its precision in target detection and tracking for distances of up to 90 km and altitudes exceeding 35,000 feet.

 

Naba Radar:

It directs missiles of various types and possesses the latest anti-jamming systems. It operates continuously for hours.
 
 

Naval Forces:

Nadir Boat:

Indigenously made, it is a combat boat with maneuverability capabilities. It carries medium weapons and air defense systems, and it has multiple combat tasks, including intercepting moving maritime targets, boarding ships, and raiding islands.

These new weapons send a clear message from the Armed Forces today, indicating that the seriousness of aggression is conditional on execution.

At the conclusion of the military parade, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, the Minister of Defense, affirmed that there would be no peace without ending the aggression, lifting the blockade, and the departure of foreign forces from Yemen. He also emphasized that peace cannot be achieved without fulfilling the demands of the great Yemeni people, stating that Sana’a is making a new history for the region.
