News - Yemen: An Israeli research center shed light on the recent military parade held by the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Sabeen Square  in the capital, Sana'a, on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.

The Israel-Alma Center within the Israeli entity pointed out that the military parade showcased some of the weapons in the possession of the Yemenis.

The center attached a video clip from the military parade, showing labels of some weapons and their ranges.

Alma is a research center specialized in the security challenges facing the Israeli entity. It was established and is headed by Reserve Major Sarit Zehavi, a military intelligence specialist who served for 15 years in the Israeli army.

The advisory board of the mentioned center consists of senior former (retired) military leaders in the Israeli army, in addition to a number of politicians and experts.

On September 21, the capital Sana'a witnessed a huge military parade in Al-Sabeen Square on the 9th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. It was the largest parade since the victory of the September 21 Revolution in 2014, during which the Yemeni Armed Forces unveiled their new strategic weapons.

The military parade was attended by the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, members of the Council, the Mufti of Yemen, as well as the heads and members of the Parliament, Ministers, Judiciary, Shura Council, and Supreme Court.

In 2014, the people of Yemen led a popular uprising against the Saudi-backed unpopular regime of Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.

As protests gripped the country, Ansarallah on September 21 took control of the capital Sana’a following a rapid advance south from their northern stronghold of Sa'ada.

The massively popular protests were against the incompetent and corrupt regime in Sana’a backed by Riyadh.

In a bid to crush the resistance and reinstall the Hadi regime, a Saudi-led coalition launched a ferocious bombing campaign on the neighboring Arab country barely six months later.

The war, which has been enjoying unstinting arms, logistical, and political support on the part of the United States, has killed tens of thousands of Yemenis and turned the entire country into the scene of the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

Facing up to the invasion, Yemen’s Army and Popular Committees have vowed not to lay down their arms until the country’s complete liberation from the scourge of the invasion.
