The messages from Palestinian resistance leaders expressed deep gratitude towards Yemen. They acknowledged Yemen's translation of its stance into reality through bold military operations aimed at the interests of the Zionist enemy. The recent act of seizing an Israeli ship was one such message, signaling support for Gaza and its people, who have faced relentless Zionist aggression since October 7, resulting in the deaths of over 14 thousand civilians, including more than six thousand children.
On Friday, Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Hamas resistance movement, extended special greetings to Yemen for their support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and Gaza.
"We offer special tribute to our brothers in Yemen, who emphatically and competently expressed their indignation towards the Israeli enemy and showed solidarity with their brethren in Gaza and Palestine in their unique way," Haniyeh said in a televised speech.
Similarly, Ziad Al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, praised Yemen's role in defending and resisting Palestine.
Al-Nakhalah highlighted Yemen's distinguished involvement and active participation in defending Palestine, affirming their presence in supporting the cause.
Additionally, Abu Hamza, the military spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, applauded Yemen's heroic stance and the valorous actions of its men in the Red Sea.
Abu Hamza stated, "Yemen, despite being targeted by missiles and drones, conveyed a strong message to the enemy asserting our rightful legal and navigational control of the Red Sea, disallowing any claims by the enemy or invaders.”
Last Thursday, Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, conveyed special greetings to Yemen.
"We salute our nation's forces and especially honor our brothers in Yemen who stood by us, supporting our people through direct and painful confrontations with the enemy," Abu Ubaida said in a video statement.
Sana’a declared on October 31 its participation in the Al-Aqsa Storm Battle, backing the Palestinian people against genocidal massacres carried out by the Zionist forces in the Gaza strip.
This declaration translated into action as the Yemeni Armed Forces executed a series of high-impact military operations using missiles and drones against Israeli enemy targets.
Furthermore, Sana’a enforced a ban on any ships associated with the Zionist entity in the Red Sea. Subsequently, the naval forces of the Sana’a government seized the Israeli ship, Galaxy Leader, on November 19. Sana’a has set a clear condition to halt the blockade on the Israeli entity. This action represents a complete cessation of Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Red Sea.
