News - Middle East: Military expert and analyst Major Abdullah Al-Jafari affirmed that the Zionist and American goal of eliminating the Islamic resistance movement Hamas will not be achieved, and that the United States will lose in its battle with Palestine and the Axis of resistance.

“We should not rely on the Security Council or any international legitimacy to support our brothers in the Gaza Strip, who are facing injustice and cruelty from the Zionist aggression,” Major Al-Jafari stated during an interview with Al-Masirah channel. 

He considered what South Africa did a very important act, describing this stance as humanitarian and courageous, something that no Arab country has done.

Al-Jafari added that “we rely on free peoples and trust in Allah, then on the mujahideen who are scripting the most magnificent epics, as well as on the stance of the axis of resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.

He emphasized that the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi fills the void amid Arab submissiveness, “as he constantly addresses us in speeches and directives that turn into reality, making Gaza the secret word.”

He explained that Yemen is facing a sacred battle of "holy jihad and the promised victory," and that America seeks to protect the Zionist entity to prevent its fall because that would mean the fall of Western dominance.

He continued, saying, "The goal that the US, together with Israel, is working on is to eliminate the Hamas movement," explaining that this is an unattainable goal.

On Friday, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) called on Israel to prevent genocidal acts in its ongoing war in Gaza but stopped short of ordering a ceasefire.

The order by the UN top court was part of its interim ruling on the emergency measures requested by South Africa in its genocide case against Israel over its war on the Gaza Strip.

The Hague-based court said Israel must do everything to “prevent the commission of all acts within the scope” of the 1948 UN Genocide Convention while refraining from ordering an immediate halt to the almost four-month-old war.

The Israeli regime waged the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime’s atrocities against Palestinians.

Since the start of the aggression, Israel has killed more than 26,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

The US has been providing the Israeli war with unreserved military and political support, arming the regime with more than 10,000 tons of military hardware, and vetoing all United Nations Security Council resolutions that have called for cessation of the Israeli aggression.
