PFLP Condemns US Administration's Hypocrisy and Calls for Continued Protests Against Gaza Genocide

News - Middle East: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) considered, Monday, that the statements of the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, yesterday regarding Gaza, and her lamentation over the catastrophic humanitarian situation there, reflect the hypocrisy of the US administration and its attempts to deceive the American public regarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza and direct US involvement in it.

The PFLP stated in a statement: The whole world knows very well that the US administration is a primary cause of the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and the war of starvation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The PFLP reminded that the US administration participates in the aggression of the Zionist enemy and supports it with various types of weapons used to bombard the Strip, utilizing all its capabilities to defend it. The Security Council has been prevented three times from issuing a resolution to cease fire, and it is the only entity capable of forcing the enemy to stop the aggression. However, it insists on participating in the bombing, killing, starving, and besieging the people of Gaza.

It added: The US administration uses a policy of crying, deception, and lies to try to influence the American voter, amid continued pressure from various activities, protests, and unprecedented demonstrations that have engulfed US cities and besieged the White House and the homes of officials.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine concluded its statement by calling for the continuation of massive protests and demonstrations throughout the United States to expose the ugly face of the US administration and hold it accountable for its participation in the genocide in the Strip.

Harris, in a speech in Alabama on the anniversary of the civil rights march known as "Bloody Sunday," addressed the Israeli authorities, saying: No excuses, the Zionist government must do more to significantly increase the flow of aid.

Some 600,000 people in Gaza or 25% of the population are currently at risk of famine.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed more than 30,000 Palestinians and injured nearly 72,000 others.

Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under the rubble in Gaza.
