The spokesman for the Armed Forces, Yahya Sare'e, clarified that the operation was carried out in collaboration with our naval forces, missile capabilities, and drones.
He emphasized that the operation was executed using a combination of naval missiles and drones.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have affirmed their commitment to continue preventing Israeli navigation or any ships heading towards the occupied ports of Palestine until the aggression is halted and the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted. They emphasized that they will not hesitate to carry out further military operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea against all hostile targets, in defense of Yemen and in support of Palestine.
They reiterated that their operations are escalating and ongoing in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait until the aggression is stopped and the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
30 Previous Naval Operations Targeted 32 Ships
From November 19, 2023, to January 31, 2024, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 20 naval operations, targeting 23 ships. These included three ships owned by the Israeli entity, nine American ships, including warships, one British oil tanker, and ten ships heading to the occupied Palestinian ports. Several ships changed their course in response to warnings from the Yemeni Navy.
On November 19, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a military operation in the Red Sea, resulting in the seizure of an Israeli ship, Galaxy Leader, and taking it to the Yemeni coast.
On December 3, the Yemeni Naval Forces targeted two Israeli ships in the Bab el Mandeb Strait, United Explorer and Number 9, with a naval missile targeting the first ship and a maritime drone targeting the second.
On December 12, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a qualitative military operation against the Norwegian ship, Strinda, loaded with oil and heading to the Israeli entity, targeting it with a suitable naval missile.
On December 14, the Yemeni Naval Forces executed a military operation against the container ship, Maersk Gibraltar, heading to the Israeli entity, with a direct hit from a maritime drone.
On December 15, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a military operation against two container ships, MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III, heading to the Israeli entity, targeting them with two suitable naval missiles.
On December 18, the Yemeni Naval Forces carried out a qualitative military operation against two ships linked to the Zionist entity, the first being the Swan Atlantic, loaded with oil, and the other being the MSC Clara carrying containers, targeting them with two naval drones.
On December 26, the Armed Forces announced the success of a dual operation targeting the ship MSC United with a naval missile and hitting Um Al-Rishrash with reconnaissance drones in support of the Palestinian people.
On December 31, the Armed Forces announced the success of a naval operation targeting the container ship Maersk Hangzhou, heading to the occupied ports of Palestine.

On January 10, the Armed Forces announced that the Naval Forces, Rocketry Force, and the Air Force carried out a joint military operation with a large number of ballistic and naval missiles and drones targeting an American ship supporting the Zionist entity. This operation came as an initial response to the treacherous attack suffered by the Yemeni Naval Forces by the US forces on December 31.
