News - Yemen: The United States and the United Kingdom launched two airstrikes on Hodeidah International Airport this Wednesday evening, Al-Masirah correspondent in Hodeidah province reported.

The developments came hours after the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced the execution of an operation targeting a US-owned bulk carrier off the southwestern coast of the port city of Aden.

On  Tuesday, the US-British aggression targeted the Al-Jabana area west of Hodeidah city with three airstrikes, and two airstrikes targeted the Ras Isa area in Al-Salif district in Hodeidah.

On Monday, the US-British aggression conducted three airstrikes on the Yassnim area in Baqem district in Sa'adah province.

In the past few weeks, the US-British aggression has targeted different areas in Hodeidah with airstrikes, including the targeting of the Ras Isa area in Al-Salif district last Saturday.

The US-UK aggressive airstrikes on Yemen continue in clear violation of Yemeni sovereignty, as an attempt to deter Yemen from its decision to prevent Israeli ships from passing through the Red Sea in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are facing a genocidal war by the savage Zionist entity.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against Zionist occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, following the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared that they will not cease retaliatory strikes. The maritime attacks have compelled major shipping and oil companies to suspend their voyages to the ports of the Zionist enemy.

Significantly, the US-Saudi aggression completely destroyed Hodeidah Airport during its ongoing aggression on Yemen for the past nine years. Dozens of airstrikes have targeted the airport since the aggression was announced by Washington on March 26, 2015.
