In an exclusive interview on Al-Masirah TV on Sunday evening, Al-Houthi noted that Yemen has emerged from the aggression stronger, attributing this to three main factors: the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik, the bravery of its fighters, and the resilience of the Yemeni people.
He pointed out that since the beginning of the aggression, Sana'a has affirmed that the goals of the aggression will not be achieved, and that its direct targeting of civilians, hospitals, and schools was evidence of their significant failure.
Al-Houthi clarified that the current situation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia constitutes de-escalation, not a truce. He stated that negotiations cannot commence until humanitarian issues, such as salary payments, restoration of electricity, and service provision, are addressed.
He reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, rooted in religious and moral beliefs rather than political motives.
He said that targeting the free resistance fighters who reject American hegemony in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq is considered targeting the Palestinian cause.
Al-Houthi condemned the aggressive actions of the US and Britain, describing them as futile, and stressed the need to continue confronting them along with the Israeli enemy, while providing support to fighters in Gaza.
Al-Houthi called on Arab regimes to reduce the export of fuel to Europe and America by 50%, noting that this would have repercussions. He also demanded not to allow aircraft to take off from military bases in the Arab world or to transport weapons to Israel.
Al-Houthi suggested that if Saudi Arabia supported Gaza as it opposed the Yemeni people, it would be beneficial for them.
He encouraged Arab people to remain vigilant and participate in ongoing protests to support the Palestinian cause.
Al-Houthi urged Saudi Arabia, as the leader of the aggression after the US, to pursue the path of peace without delay.
He cautioned against the use of force on Yemen, stating that the Yemeni army is adapting to field developments and undergoing practical training. He emphasized that the US will not remain the dominant global power and highlighted Yemen's possession of weapons capable of reaching it.
Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, claiming the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.
The US-Saudi aggression has targeted neighborhoods and populated areas and destroyed the infrastructure and capabilities of the country, in light of a suspicious international silence.
The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
