News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the successful execution of five military operations over the past 72 hours.

The operations targeted a number of vessels allegedly involved in the conflict, including American military frigates, a British ship, and two ships purportedly associated with Israel, in response to what they perceive as US-British aggression on their country and in support of Palestine.

In a televised statement, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, clarified that the naval forces carried out an operation targeting the British ship named “HOPE ISLAND” in the Red Sea.

The statement added that the naval forces also executed operations targeting two ships reportedly bound for occupied Palestinian ports, which they claim were Israeli vessels.
The first ship, “MSC GRACE F”, was allegedly targeted in the Indian Ocean, and the second, “MSC GINA”, was purportedly targeted in the Arabian Sea.

The Yemeni Armed Forces indicated that the targeting operation was carried out using a number of ballistic and winged missiles, and they claim the operation successfully achieved its objectives.

The statement pointed out that the drone air force carried out two military operations targeting a number of American warships in the Red Sea.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed their continued efforts to prevent what they consider Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean until they perceive the aggression as stopped and the siege on Gaza lifted.

Since the commencement of the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation. 

Israel initiated its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a "complete siege" on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed over 33,175 Palestinians and injured more than 75,886 others.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted recent attacks on ships with ties to Israel near Yemeni ports, including the interception and seizure of a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime on November 19.

The maritime attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes.

Tankers are instead adding thousands of miles to international shipping routes by sailing around the continent of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.
