Yemen: In a continuation of the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people, various aspects of civilian life including homes, roads, farms, schools, hospitals, and markets continue to be targeted.

On May 14, 2015, and May 14, 2017, airstrikes carried out by the aggression struck a citizen's car in Sa'adah and a farm and home in Taiz, resulting in tragic losses.

May 14, 2015: 9 Martyrs in Airstrikes on a Citizen's Car in Sa'adah

On May 14, 2015, the aggression's aircraft targeted a citizen's car in the Al-Malahit area of Al-Zahir district in Sa'adah governorate.

The airstrikes resulted in the deaths of 9 citizens who were traveling on the main road. The car they were in was destroyed, causing fear and terror among travelers and passersby who witnessed the burning vehicle.

As the civilian car traveled its usual route in the Al-Malahit area towards Sa'adah, the 9 passengers were ambushed by aircraft seeking an easy civilian target. The sudden attack transformed the car into a fireball, leaving the passengers' bodies charred and shattered.

The brutality of the attack was evident in the scene of devastation, with bodies and remains scattered and charred. No one survived the assault. The attack on the civilian car is one of many similar airstrikes that have targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure over the past nine years, resulting in the deaths and injuries of thousands.

May 14, 2017: Targeting a Citizen's Home and Farm in Taiz

On the same day, May 14, 2017, the US-Saudi aircraft targeted the home and farm of citizen Ahmed Al-Shamari in the Shamar area of Taiz governorate.

The airstrikes led to the deaths of 400 sheep, complete destruction of the farm hangar, burning of the feed store, and damage to the house, causing fear and panic among residents.

The targeting of Al-Shamari's farm is just one example of the thousands of farms hit by the US-Saudi aggression over the past nine years, reflecting an economic war plan aimed at destroying civilians' livelihoods.
