News - Yemen: Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan confirmed that the United States, through its intelligence agencies and certain international organizations, has conducted hostile espionage activities under the guise of diplomatic and humanitarian work.

Al-Ruwaishan added that since 2014, Yemen has faced a regional and international aggression that has been met with popular resistance. The recent "Al-Aqsa Storm" supporting operations showed the state of hostility towards the United States.

He noted that the achievement of arresting the spy network sends a message to the U.S. and Israel that Yemen remains steadfast in its support for the causes of its nation, particularly the Palestinian cause. He mentioned that the security agencies have a lot of information and will continue to release details in the coming days, including the announcement of new intelligence cells.

Al-Ruwaishan also emphasized that the constitutional and legal procedure is to refer these espionage networks to the Yemeni judiciary to ensure they receive the appropriate punitive measures.

Earlier, Yemeni Security Forces announced on Monday they dismantled a significant espionage network working for the United States and Israel, involved in espionage and sabotage activities across various state institutions for decades.

According to a statement from the Security Forces, the network was directly linked to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and had obtained highly sensitive information about various aspects of life in Yemen, including military, security, economic, agricultural, health, and educational fields.
