Israeli Forces Kill Another Palestinian Journalist in Gaza
News - Middle East: Israeli forces have killed another Palestinian journalist in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip, taking the number of journalists killed in the besieged territory since October to 151.
In an announcement on Monday, the Gaza media office said the regime’s forces killed Mahmoud Qassem, a photojournalist who was working with the local Palestine daily. It did not provide any information on the location and the date of the killing.
UN experts have previously warned about “the extraordinarily high numbers of journalists and media workers who have been killed, attacked, injured and detained in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.”
By killing media workers, they said, Israeli forces were “blatantly disregarding international law.”
