News - Yemen: Political and party leaders condemned the assassination of Hamas's political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh, by the Zionist enemy, urging the resistance axis to retaliate against this cowardly act.

"The great Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh symbolized the Palestinian people with his resilience, steadfastness, sacrifices, and immense patience," member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Saleh Al-Nuaimi said.

Al-Nuaimi emphasized that the Zionist enemy believes assassinating leaders is a victory, unaware that their pure blood will only bolster the people's resilience and steadfastness. He affirmed that martyred leaders exemplify sacrifice and dedication for their nation.

He highlighted that Haniyeh's assassination in Iran's capital is an intensified aggression that will bolster Iran's stance and motivate continued support for the resistance against the Zionists.

US and Israel Orchestrated Haniyeh's Assassination After Gaza Defeat

Minister of Higher Education Sheikh Hussein Hazeb stated that the assassination of the great Mujahed Ismail Haniyeh is a treacherous crime orchestrated by the US and Israel following their defeat in Gaza.

He remarked that such heinous crimes reveal the Jews' deep-seated enmity towards Muslims and all free people, noting that the Zionist enemy and its American backers understand only the language of force. He called for the nation to respond in kind.

"We have great faith in the resistance leadership, led by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to respond forcefully, as this targets all resistance members," he added.

Dangerous Escalation

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha al-Mutawakel stated that the nation face a dangerous escalation and a new phase titled victory, requiring sacrifices for the nation’s triumph.

"Great leaders carry their souls in their hands, knowing they are martyrdom projects, and thus they confidently confront Zionist aggression," Al-Mutawakel said.

A Historic Moment to Discipline the Enemy

Head of the Al-Aqsa Support Committee Sheikh Mohammed Muftah noted that martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh and his family epitomize martyrdom.

"The Palestinian people are crafting a legendary epic of resilience and valor against the world's vilest enemy," Muftah said.

He believed the Zionist enemy miscalculated the timing and location of Haniyeh's assassination, which will bring them significant woes and dire consequences. He urged Iran to seize the moment to discipline the Zionist enemy for its crimes.

Sheikh Muftah stressed that resistance leaders must respond decisively to this crime, warning that letting it go unpunished will have repercussions for the entire region.

Harsh Response from the Resistance Axis

Head of the Reform Organization Sheikh Mujahid Al-Qahali asserted that the Zionist enemy's assassination of resistance leaders shows weakness, baseness, and loss, not courage or victory.

Al-Qahali stressed that the Zionist enemy will pay dearly for its crimes against martyred leaders, adding that the response will be harsh from the entire resistance axis.

He affirmed that these crimes will only strengthen the determination, persistence, and courage of the nation to continue the struggle until the entity is removed. He added that the martyrs' blood is a torch for revolution and continued resistance and support for the Palestinian people, not a weakening or loss.

On Wednesday morning, Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed when their residence in the Iranian capital was hit in an attack.

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said the attack is under investigation and the results will be announced later in the day.

Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Following the assassination, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei warned the Israeli regime of a "harsh response", saying it is the Islamic Republic's duty to avenge the blood of the Palestinian resistance leader.

“The criminal and terrorist Zionist regime martyred our dear guest in our homeland and left us bereaved, but it also set the ground for a harsh punishment for itself,” the Leader said.
