In its daily statistical report on martyrs and the wounded, the ministry confirmed that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression, which has lasted for 320 days, has risen to 40,223 martyrs and 92,981 injuries since last October 7th.

The ministry said that some of the victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, and the emergency and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

Since last October 7th, the Zionist enemy forces have been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, in addition to the displacement of two million people and the very extensive destruction of homes and infrastructure, affecting more than 70% of the buildings, alongside a tight siege and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis and famine, especially in Gaza and its north.
