News - World: The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Wednesday that it had received a report of an incident about 77 nautical miles west of the city of Hodeidah.

The organization stated that the Greek-flagged oil tanker "Sonion" was attacked by two small boats in the Red Sea. The attack resulted in the firing of three projectiles towards the tanker.

UKMTO confirmed that the tanker lost control of the rudder as a result of the attack.

Separately, the British company Ambrey reported a separate incident in the same area, without providing further details.
