In the latest episode of this treachery and conspiracy, a new appearance of the American-Israeli spy network surfaced on the "Al Masirah" satellite channel on Sunday. This time, they provided shocking confessions about targeting the educational system in Yemen from 2000 to 2010. Here are the details:
The Ministry's Structure Under Direct American Influence:
The spy "Mujib Al-Makhlafi" began his confession by revealing the preparation of curricula for higher teacher institutes, which initially produced far better outcomes than the Faculty of Education. He explained that this significant achievement was dismantled and funding was halted by the American agency, shifting instead to short-term training programs lasting from a week to two weeks. This harmed the reputation of the higher institutes because support was withdrawn, their staff was scattered, and they were moved to training departments in provincial centers, as part of a destructive plan.
Al-Makhlafi also mentioned that the Americans insisted on establishing the training and rehabilitation sector and the girls' education sector within the ministry. This allowed them to interfere in the institutional structure of the ministry, causing significant disruption to the educational process, affecting the students' level. He noted that the General Directorate of Training and the General Directorate of Supervision were originally part of the curricula and supervision sector, and they worked in parallel before being separated.
He explained that the role of the American agency and donors in targeting the educational process began when funds were directed to the Basic Education Development Project Unit. The biggest flaw within the ministry was separating training from supervision and splitting the education sector, which was the ministry's backbone, into tasks related to girls' education and general education. This created conflict between the sectors, leading to a weakened educational sector and increased internal strife within the ministry from 2004 onwards.
American Experts Changing Yemen's Educational Curricula:
Another spy, "Amer Al-Aghbari," in his new confessions, stated that in 2004, the American intelligence coordinated his employment in the Basic Education Improvement Project, funded by the American agency and supervised by the CIA officer "John Riley." Al-Aghbari mentioned participating in meetings with the American ambassador, the project director, and teams from the American agency and the Ministry of Education to review the previous strategy.
He also revealed that American, German, British, Dutch, and Saudi ambassadors participated in the project, aiming to change the curricula according to a strategy that included weakening local educational staff, introducing foreign symbols and holidays into the curricula, and eliminating Quranic verses that they claimed incited religious conflicts.
American Intelligence Infiltrating Yemeni Textbooks:
Spy "Mohammed Hatem Al-Makhlafi" disclosed that American intelligence worked on introducing incorrect concepts into second-grade reading books, promoting what they called a "culture of peace" (meaning surrender), fighting extremism (meaning eliminating jihad), and other ideas. He noted that images of women not adhering to Islamic dress codes were introduced into the textbooks.
Furthermore, phrases encouraging atheism were inserted, like "the rain falls" instead of "God brings down the rain," promoting atheistic ideas. The American team also inserted the cross into illustrations, symbolizing a move toward normalization with the Israeli enemy by subtly portraying the Al-Aqsa Mosque under Jewish control, without mentioning their occupation.
American-Funded Parent Councils Targeting Yemeni Youth:
Spy "Shaif Al-Hamdani" revealed that under the guise of renovating schools, the American agency aimed to collect intelligence data on educators, students, and local communities. They established parent councils in targeted areas to gather detailed information on the local population.
The Role of American Marines in Destroying Yemen’s Education System:
Spy "Amer Al-Aghbari" discussed the involvement of American Marines, disguised as civil engineers, in renovating schools and distributing bags with American symbols in Saada Province, which led to protests and forced the Marines to flee.
He also mentioned that the World Bank designed a comprehensive education improvement project, which, although ostensibly aimed at developing education, served American strategies to destabilize the Yemeni educational system.
Targeting Science and Mathematics Curricula to Harm Yemeni Minds:
Spy "Mujib Al-Makhlafi" discussed the American-supported TIMSS project, which tested Yemeni students in science and mathematics. The results showed Yemen performing poorly, leading to the introduction of new curricula that schools could not adequately support due to a lack of necessary laboratory facilities. This weakened students' understanding and harmed their academic performance.
In conclusion, the spies admitted that the American strategy aimed to create a generation incapable of advancing Yemen’s future by undermining the foundational subjects of science and mathematics, which are essential for technological and industrial development.
