Al-Qassam Brigades Release Video of Captured Israeli Soldiers

News – Middle East:  The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released a video on Wednesday featuring a captured Israeli soldier and a female soldier among the six whose bodies were found by Israeli forces inside a tunnel in Rafah, southern Gaza, last Saturday.

In the video broadcasted on their Telegram page, the captured soldier, Lubenov Alskander, stated that he was captured on October 7 during the Re'im event.

He added that "the prisoners are living under difficult conditions due to the scarcity of basic necessities such as water, electricity, and food," saying, "We are scared and have trouble sleeping, and I have been moved ten times for my safety."

Alskander addressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying, "You have failed; you neglected us on October 7, and now you continue to fail in every attempt to release us alive."

He further stated, "You are only trying to kill us so that you won't have to negotiate a deal. I ask for the help of my friends and the people of Israel because I left behind my pregnant wife, a two-year-old son, and sick parents. Help them convey my voice; go out to the streets, protest, and do everything to get us out of here while we are still alive."

He referenced the deal for soldier Gilad Shalit, saying, "Let me remind you that in the Shalit deal, more than a thousand Palestinian prisoners were released."

Meanwhile, the slain female prisoner, Carmel Jatt, stated that she was captured from her father's house on October 7 and suffers from the negligence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the prisoners, who face death every moment due to Israeli targeting.

She added that she "lives under difficult conditions with no water, food, or cleaning supplies, and knows nothing about the other prisoners who were with her," saying, "I don't know if I will come out alive from this unending Israeli bombardment."

She concluded by urging the Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, to stop this negligence and bombardment and return them to their homes, calling on Israelis "to continue protesting for the return of the prisoners alive," adding, "Do not concede and do not let anyone close the door to negotiations."

The Al-Qassam Brigades also released a video on Tuesday evening of captured Israeli soldier Ori Danino, who was killed in Rafah during ongoing military operations by Israeli forces.

On Monday, Hamas broadcast scenes of deceased Israeli prisoner Idan Yerushalmi, one of the six prisoners Israeli forces announced they had found in Rafah on Saturday.

Israeli forces announced on Sunday the "recovery of the bodies of six captives after they were found inside a tunnel in the Gaza Strip," confirming that "their identities have been established."

The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Daniel Hagari, stated that "the six bodies were found in a tunnel in the Rafah area of southern Gaza, where Israeli forces have been conducting a ground operation for months."

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that "the prisoners were killed by the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip," holding the Israeli government and the US administration responsible for the deaths of the Israeli prisoners.
