Politicians, activists, and students participated in the demonstration held on Saturday at Westlake Park in Seattle, Washington.
Protesters carried images of Aigy and signs reading, "Aisha was martyred for Palestine," "Justice for Aisha," and "Resistance is not terrorism."
During the demonstration, Imam Akram Bayoumi from the Puget Sound Muslim Association addressed the crowd.
"Just hours before Aisha was killed, she said we must do more. Today, I ask all of you: will we let Aisha Noor's words go to waste? No. Will we do everything we can to advance her legacy and work toward a free Palestine? Yes," Bayoumi said.
In a statement, Melissa Shudry, a candidate for the US Congress, expressed her admiration for Aisha Noor, describing her as a passionate advocate for peace and justice.
“The struggle for compassion and principles requires great courage these days, and Aisha paid the price for this struggle,” Shudry said.
She added, “We know that the sniper rifle that killed Aisha was funded with American money. This is something I cannot accept, and I hope my fellow Americans won’t accept it either."
Shudry emphasized that Aisha Noor sacrificed her life for justice and peace, urging everyone to honor her memory by continuing to pursue her goals.
On Friday, the Israeli army fatally shot activist Aisha Noor with live ammunition while she was participating in a protest condemning settlement activities in the town of Beita, in the Nablus governorate in the northern West Bank.
