News - Middle East: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed that the missiles and weapons possessed by the Yemenis are the result of their own efforts. 

In a press statement, Pezeshkian stated that the missile used in the recent operation targeting "Jaffa" in occupied Palestine on Sunday is not present in Iran.

He added, "We do not provide missiles to the Yemenis; they possess the technology to manufacture them," while also noting that Tehran shares a common vision with the Yemenis to support the Palestinians in confronting the Zionist entity.

On Sunday morning, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a special military operation targeting an Israeli military site in the Jaffa area of occupied Palestine.

In a statement, the Armed Forces said the operation was carried out with a new hypersonic ballistic missile that successfully reached its target, while the enemy's defenses failed to intercept it. The missile traveled a distance of approximately 2,040 km in 11 and a half minutes.

According to the statement, the missile caused fear and panic among the Israelis, with over two million seeking shelter, marking the first time in the history of the Israeli enemy that such a large number was forced to take cover.

The Armed Forces confirmed that this operation is part of the fifth phase, marking the culmination of the efforts of the Rocketry Force heroes who made tremendous strides in developing missile technology to meet the demands and challenges of the battle with the Zionist enemy. The missile successfully reached its target, overcoming all obstacles and interception systems on land and sea, including American and Israeli defenses.

The statement added that the obstacles of geography, the US-British aggression, and monitoring, espionage, and interception systems will not prevent Yemen from fulfilling its religious, moral, and humanitarian duty in supporting the Palestinian people.
