News - Yemen: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah has strongly condemned the recent Israeli terrorist operations against Lebanon, which resulted in numerous martyrs and wounded individuals. The bureau affirmed its support for Lebanon and its Islamic resistance in confronting the Zionist aggression.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Political Bureau of Ansarullah declared that the Israeli attacks on civilians in Lebanon constitute war crimes and represent a blatant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty.

The bureau stressed that the persistence of the Zionist entity in its crimes, both in Gaza and Lebanon, is backed by American support at all levels.

The statement highlighted that Hezbollah’s courageous and moral stance in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza has led to significant losses by the Israeli enemy, both human and material.

It noted that the enemy’s resort to such crimes indicates its bankruptcy and inability to engage in direct military confrontations, and it is attempting to avoid direct field engagements through these attacks.

The Political Bureau of Ansarullah expressed full solidarity with the Lebanese people and affirmed Lebanon's and Hezbollah's right to respond to this dangerous escalation, which deepens the bloodshed.

The bureau also condemned the Israeli aggression as a blatant violation of international norms and laws and expressed confidence in Lebanon’s and Hezbollah's capability to confront the escalation, despite the challenges.

The statement concluded by affirming that this aggression will not deter the Al-Quds, jihad, and Resistance Axis from continuing to support the Palestinian people and their just cause.

At least 14 people have been killed as more communication devices detonated in Lebanon a day after simultaneous explosions of pagers across the country left at least a dozen dead and thousands injured.

Explosions were reported in multiple locations in Lebanon, including at the site of a funeral for a child killed in a pager explosion the previous day.

Media reports said that several blasts occurred simultaneously in Beirut similar to what happened on Tuesday. Several explosions were also reported in southern and eastern Lebanon.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 14 people were killed and more than 450 injured in the new wave of explosions. 

An informed source told Press TV the detonated devices came from the same batch of cargo as the detonated pagers, all imported from the same company.
