September 18 Over 9 Years: 121 Casualties in US-Saudi War Crimes and Horrific Massacres on Yemen

Yemen: During the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, the US-Saudi aggression bombings targeted the provinces of Sa'adah, Sana'a, Hajjah, Dhamar, Taiz, and Hodeida with a series of brutal massacres and war crimes, resulting in the deaths of children, women, and the elderly, and hitting civilians and infrastructure.

These attacks led to 52 martyrs and 69 wounded, with waves of displacement and suffering, fuel and food shortages, and a significant exacerbation of the Yemeni people's suffering, loss of security, and basic human rights.

2015: 43 Martyrs and Wounded in 3 Separate War Crimes in Sa'adah

On September 18, 2015, Sa'adah experienced three war crimes in the districts of Haydan, Baqem, and Razih, where the US-Saudi aggression bombings targeted civilian homes with missiles and cluster bombs, resulting in 35 martyrs and eight wounded, mostly women, children, and the elderly. Homes and property were destroyed, and many families were displaced, exacerbating their suffering.

Haydan: Massacre of 3 Families in a Horrific Attack

In a crime that shocked human conscience, US-Saudi aggression bombings targeted three families in the Shuruq area in the Haydan district, resulting in 21 civilian martyrs and two others injured.

Baqem: Aggression Bombings Turn Sheikh Saleh Omaya’s Home into a Mass Grave

In another crime, the aggression bombings targeted Sheikh Saleh Omaya’s home in the Al-Qarad area of the Baqem district, resulting in 13 civilian martyrs and four others wounded. This deliberate attack on safe homes constitutes a war crime and confirms the aggression's direct targeting of civilians.

Razih: Targeting of Citizens' Homes in Al-Nazeer

In a third crime, airstrikes targeted citizens' homes in the Al-Nazeer area of the Razih district, resulting in the death of one civilian and the injury of two others. These repeated crimes indicate that the aggression seeks to destroy Yemen’s infrastructure and displace its people.

2015: 55 Casualties in War Crimes and Brutal Massacres from Aggression Bombings on Sana'a

On September 18, 2015, aggression bombings targeted homes and properties in the Eastern Jarf, Marib Street, and Al-Hesbah areas of the Yemeni capital Sana'a, resulting in 11 martyrs and 44 wounded, mostly children and women. Numerous homes and shops were destroyed, and there was widespread displacement and suffering.

The screams of children and mothers, the moans of the wounded, the spilled blood, and the scattered body parts painted a tragic and unforgettable picture, adding to the long record of crimes committed by the aggression against the Yemeni people.

In a moment, the aggression's planes flew over Sana'a, which was at peace, and life exploded into rubble. Death visited the innocent, and terror shook the quiet of the night, with bombings that made no distinction between children, the elderly, or men and women, all of whom were easy targets for its savage attacks.

Homes that were once shelters for families became mass graves, and dreams that were once being built turned to ashes. Streets that were once bustling with life now witnessed a horrific massacre, with blood and body parts scattered, and grief and despair overwhelming.

Imagine a terrifying scene, children playing in the streets, suddenly death rains down upon them from the sky without justification or reason. Imagine mothers searching for their children among the rubble, and fathers trying to save what’s left of their homes. This is the harsh reality the Yemeni people face under the aggression.

2015: 13 Casualties in a War Crime of Aggression Bombings on Civilians in Taiz

On this dark day, September 18, 2015, US-Saudi aggression bombings targeted Al-Houban in the Taiz, resulting in three martyrs and 10 wounded among travelers, and creating a state of fear and terror among residents and passersby.

On this day, Al-Houban was a transit point for citizens, workers, and expatriates, which was turned into a brutal massacre by the aggression bombings. Blood and body parts scattered on cars, walls, and shops, filling the hearts of those present and their families with sorrow and despair.

Imagine a horrifying scene, travelers with their belongings in cars searching for passengers, and car owners looking for sustenance for their children, suddenly met with death and destruction from the aggression bombings, explosive bombs, and destructive missiles, in a mini-apocalypse and an unexpected major tragedy.

2016: New War Crimes by Aggression Bombings Targeting Civilians in Sa'adah and Dhamar

On September 18, 2016, US-Saudi aggression bombings targeted the homes and farms of citizens in the Al-Hijla area of the Razih district in Sa'adah, resulting in the death of a woman and significant damage to property. Another bombing targeted the sports field in the Al-Muthalath area of Dhamar, resulting in the injury of five civilians.

Sa'adah: Death of a Woman in Aggression Cluster Bombings on Homes and Farms in Razih

In the Al-Hijla village of the Razih district, where the blue sky meets the green mountains, lived a simple woman whose life revolved around her family and small farm. Her joy was in tending her land, but the aggression and cluster bombs that filled the valleys and scattered around homes and roofs before exploding, led to her untimely death.

On September 18, 2016, a powerful explosion shook the quiet Al-Hijla village with a cluster bomb dropped by the US-Saudi aggression planes, targeting the woman’s home and farm. In an instant, her life turned into hell, and her farm, once her livelihood, turned into scorched earth.

The innocent woman did not escape the shrapnel from the cursed bomb and was martyred while trying to protect what was left of her property before bidding farewell to her infant child. She was a mother with many children, and the cluster bomb took her life before she could see her children grow up.
