In a statement on Saturday, the ministry affirmed that the policy of assassinations will only strengthen the resistance, increasing its power, steadfastness, and willingness to sacrifice in order to reclaim the rights usurped by the Zionist entity and achieve the promised victory.
The statement highlighted that with the martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah, the Arab and Islamic nations have lost a great leader who dedicated his life to jihad in the path of Allah and to resisting the Zionist enemy.
It emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah's legacy will remain immortal in the memory of future generations and the free people of the world, noting that the Yemeni people will never forget his unwavering support for Yemen from the very first day of the aggression, especially when others abandoned them.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry called on the international community to condemn this cowardly act and to pressure the Zionist entity to end its occupation, aggression, and siege.
The statement reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for the Lebanese people and their heroic resistance against the brutal Zionist aggression.
On Friday, Israeli warplanes carried out a large strike against Haret Hreik neighborhood of Beirut’s densely populated southern suburb of Dahiyeh, flattening at least six residential buildings.
The attacks came as part of the regime’s escalation against Lebanon which has been targeting the country since October 7, when Tel Aviv launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
Sayyed Nasrallah led Hezbollah for more than three decades. He was elected secretary-general of Hezbollah in 1992, aged 32 after an Israeli helicopter gunship killed his predecessor, Sayyed Abbas al-Musawi.
