President Pezeshkian: ‘Decisive Response Was Given to Israeli Aggression’
News - Middle East: “A decisive response was given to the Zionist regime’s aggression,” President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran says.
The Tuesday night Operation True Promise II targeted three military bases around Tel Aviv.
“In accordance with the legitimate rights and with the goal of ensuring peace and security for Iran and the region, a decisive response was delivered to the Zionist regime’s aggression,” Pezeshkian’s posting on X read.
“This operation was carried out in defense of Iran’s interests and citizens. Let (Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu know that Iran is not belligerent, but it stands firm against any threat. This is only a fraction of our power. Do not engage in conflict with Iran.”
Iranian missiles pounded the Israeli occupied territories in response to the assassination of senior Resistance leaders by the regime, and its barbarism in the besieged Gaza Strip and psychopathic bombardment of Lebanon.
