News - Yemen: The Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi revealed the brutal crimes of the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip during the year of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, which received unprecedented support from the United States and the West.

In a speech on Sunday, marking the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, Sayyed Abdulmalik stated that the criminal enemy launched over a quarter of a million airstrikes on Gaza over the past year, in addition to artillery shelling targeting a limited geographical area. He noted that approximately 150 thousand people have been martyred, gone missing, or injured during this assault.

He pointed out that the Israeli enemy used 100,000 tons of explosives, including bombs, missiles, and shells supplied by the Americans, with the intent to exterminate civilians in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, over 10,000 tons of unexploded mines have been left, turning Gaza into a minefield and causing ongoing harm to its residents.

Sayyed Abdulmalik mentioned that an estimated 7,820 martyr bodies have not been buried or reached hospitals due to the challenging conditions and the disappearance of many bodies. This is attributed to the enemy's use of banned American weapons and bombs, which are internationally prohibited.

He explained that the enemy mobilized all its resources, backed by the US, Britain, and the West, to attack densely populated Gaza. The assault was executed by an army of around 350,000 regular and reserve forces, deploying approximately five military divisions, and was supported by unprecedented naval, air, and warfare firepower along with intelligence operations.

He confirmed that over the year since the Al-Aqsa Storm, the Israeli enemy committed around 3,700 massacres, employing all possible means for killing, extermination, destruction, and starving the Palestinian people in ways unparalleled globally.

America as a Partner in These Crimes

Addressing the American role during the year of the Al-Aqsa Storm battle, Sayyed Abdulmalik affirmed that America is a partner and financier, supplying large quantities of weapons to the Israeli enemy while overseeing support for this criminal entity.

He noted that during the year of aggression on Gaza, the US established an air and sea bridge to deliver the deadliest weapons to the Zionists. Hundreds of planes and over 100 ships delivered tons of arms, with American support for the aggression rapidly escalating, providing billions of dollars worth of weapons starting from October 8, just two days after the conflict began.

He explained that although the Israeli enemy has its own weapons industry, it heavily relies on American aircraft and weaponry in its aggression on Gaza. Tens of thousands of tons of weapons were shipped, which the Israeli occupation army claimed were crucial for its operations.

Sayyed Abdulmalik also clarified that the US blocked five resolutions in the UN Security Council, using its veto to prevent a ceasefire in Gaza. He added that American authorities violently suppressed student protests in US universities, acting aggressively against those opposing the horrific crimes in Gaza.

Targeting the Educational and Health Sectors and Mosques

Sayyed Abdulmalik stated that since the beginning of the aggression, approximately 12,000 school-age children have been martyred, along with 750 teachers and educators. Additionally, 1,100 university students and 130 scholars and professors have lost their lives.

He confirmed that the Israeli enemy has destroyed 93% of school buildings in Gaza, either completely or partially, affecting around 650 schools and 130 administrative and university facilities. As a result, 800,000 students, including over 100,000 higher education students, have been deprived of their education.

Sayyed Abdulmalik further explained that the Israeli enemy targeted all hospitals, totaling 162 healthcare facilities. Many of these have been rendered completely inoperative, with the remaining facilities providing only minimal services. Approximately 1,000 healthcare workers have been martyred, and 300 have been abducted.

Regarding the targeting of mosques, he explained that the Zionist aggression on Gaza destroyed 814 mosques, desecrating their sanctity, burning Qur'ans, and killing worshippers. Additionally, 19 cemeteries were also targeted.
