News - Yemen: Yemen’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Muftah, has called on the Yemeni people to support resistance fighters on the fronts in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as to back Yemen's Rocketry and Air Forces.

Muftah's call was made during his speech at a public event organized by the General Authority for Endowments on Wednesday, marking the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, under the theme "Our Religious Responsibility Towards the Palestinian Cause."

“The Yemenis have demonstrated their commitment to the Palestinian cause in both words and actions through official and public events, large-scale marches, financial and material contributions, and extensive military participation in support of the people of Gaza and the resistance against Zionist aggression,” Muftah stated.

He added, “The Al-Aqsa Flood operation succeeded from its very first day, exposing the true ugliness and deceit of the Zionist entity to the entire world, in stark contrast to the image of idealism and civility that the Zionists and the West had promoted.”

Sheikh Abdulmajid Al-Houthi, head of the General Authority for Endowments, explained that the Al-Aqsa Flood operation has shifted the balance of power in the region and will reshape the Middle East. 

He affirmed that the operation was launched by divine will through the heroes of the Palestinian resistance after 75 years of occupation, oppression, imprisonment, displacement, and killing, aiming to weaken the Zionist enemy and debunk the myth of its so-called "invincible army."

He further noted that the events of October 7th revealed the vulnerabilities of the entity's military, intelligence, and security systems, while exposing its ugly, criminal face and the hypocrisy of its Western humanitarian and human rights claims. It also laid bare the true nature of the Arab and Islamic regimes that have normalized relations with the occupying entity.

In conclusion, the General Authority for Endowments announced a donation campaign to support resistance fighters in Gaza, southern Lebanon, as well as Yemen's missile and air forces. They called on the Yemeni people to actively participate in supporting their brothers in confronting the Zionist enemy.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7 last year, killing at least 42,010 Palestinians to date.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until Israeli ground and aerial attacks in Gaza end.

Israel launched its brutal campaign of genocide in Gaza after Palestinian resistance groups conducted a surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm into the occupied territories.

The regime has had in place a near-total siege on the coastal territory, which has reduced to a trickle the flow of foodstuffs, medicine, electricity, and water into the Palestinian territory.
