News - Yemen:  The Yemeni Radio and Television Corporation condemned on Wednesday the Israeli aggression targeting the office of Al-Mayadeen channel in Beirut, expressing full solidarity with the channel.

In a statement, the corporation described the attack as a blatant violation of all international values and conventions that the Israeli enemy disregards.

The statement viewed the "barbaric Israeli aggression on Al-Mayadeen's office as evidence of the enemy's desperation, which is facing setbacks on the ground in confrontations with resistance fighters in Lebanon, and is attempting to retaliate by targeting civilians and civilian, media, and economic institutions."

Praising "the exceptional management of Al-Mayadeen and all its staff for their leading role in the media battle against the Israeli enemy," the Yemeni Radio and Television Corporation added that the "attack is a clear acknowledgment by the Israeli entity of its incapacity and failure in confronting this channel and all resistance media, and a psychological and moral defeat in the face of Al-Mayadeen and all the resistant media."

The corporation affirmed that Al-Mayadeen will remain a shining beacon in confronting the lies and falsehoods spread by Israeli and its allies' lowly media.

Additionally, the corporation sent its greetings and appreciation to Al-Mayadeen and all its employees, particularly the esteemed Mr. Ghassan Ben Jeddou, Chairman of Al-Mayadeen Network.

The Joint Meeting Parties also strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the Al-Mayadeen office in Beirut, considering it a blatant violation of all international and national laws and norms that protect media operations and journalists during times of war.

In a statement, the Joint Meeting Parties expressed their full solidarity with Al-Mayadeen and its brave journalists, who work tirelessly to expose and denounce the enemy and highlight its crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.

They stated that the enemy's continuous attempts to silence the voice of truth and the platform of reality will be futile, as it cannot conceal the ugliness of its actions or obscure the clear truth, no matter how much it kills, commits crimes, or destroys. They emphasized that Al-Mayadeen will continue its media mission in all fields, despite the dangers and challenges.

The Israeli regime has carried out an airstrike against the office of Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen television network in the country’s capital Beirut on Wednesday, killing one person and wounding five others, including a child, according to Lebanon’s health ministry.

The network said it had fortunately evacuated the building last October after the regime notably escalated its deadly attacks against Lebanon.

Reacting to the attack, al-Mayadeen denounced the regime for targeting a well-known media outlet, but stressed that it would continue to report the truth amid the escalation.
